I love working with this handsome little man and his parents! I have been photographing Karsen at least yearly since he was still just a baby bump and I’m pretty sure this is my favourite session to date! We spent a couple of hours wandering around letting Karsen take the lead and show us where to go. I can’t believe how much he’s grown since last summer!
Karsen you are such a handsome and sweet little man, and definitely ALL BOY!

He most definitely is licking cake from the floor… He couldn’t get enough!
Last weekend I packed up my gear and went to meet sweet Mason for a fun cake smash! It was so much fun, I love when kids get right into the cake with no fear!
I promised his Momma a sneak peak or two, so here’s one to hold you over until i get the kids to bed tonight!
On a beautiful day in August Andrew & Ashely swore to love each other through thick and thin, for better and for worse
It was a day so full of love and I am so happy I was there to witness it first hand.
My wonderful assistant and I started our day with Ashley and her girls at their home in Richmond.
After Ashley stepped into her beautiful lace gown, we made our way to where Andrew was waiting for their “First Look”
It was awesome! I love love love that they wanted to have a few moments to themselves before the hustle and bustle of the day.
Then one they were able to peel their hands off each other we moved on to the “formal” portraits, getting those out of the way so that they could get right to the reception afterwards!

The Wedding Party
After that we headed to Mayfair Lakes Golf Course for the ceremony and reception. What a beautiful location for a late afternoon ceremony!
I loved how he cupped her face during their first kiss, so sweet <3
I also loved that she went barefoot!
After the receiving line I had ONE photo that I left to take, the bride’s family. That was the only photo that was on my shoot list, but it was a bit daunting being my biggest group that I had photographed up until that point.
It’s going to be a nice big canvas in the newly-wed’s living room.
Have I mentioned how much I love when client’s choose to be their own art?
I think it’s the bee’s knee’s!
Then it was on to the reception…
After dinner the groom had a photo request…
Then it was on to speeches, first dances and the party!
Congrats again Andrew and Ashley, I wish you many happy years together!

I met up with this amazing couple back in the beginning of August for a fun shoot down in Fort Langley. Jill’s mom had asked Jill and her sisters to send her a recent picture of themselves and their families. Well, Jill took it a step forward and had me come out and capture her and her hubby. She had just lost 50+ lbs and hadn’t told her mom yet!
It was awesome to catch up with them, and break in my new camera and lens!
